Anchor

 Implement by which a ship is rendered stationary

Bridge

 Navigating center of a ship

Cabin

 Passenger compartment of an aircraft ; standard bedroom

 (berth)  on a ship; a small , isolated building for rent to

 travelers.

Deep tank

 A tank fitted and equipped for the carriage of vegetable oil 

 (e.g. palm oil and coconut oil ) and other liquids in bulk on a 

 vessel.  By means of oil tight bulkheads and/or decks, it is

 possible to  carry different kinds of liquid in adjacent tanks.

 Deep  tanks may be equipped with heating facilities in order

 to carry and  discharge oil  at the required temperature.

Double Bottom

 Series of tanks above the keel of the vessel to afford improved

 construction rigidity and providing tanks for fuel oil,

 freshwater  or water ballast in a ship.

Draught  The depth from the waterline to the vessel’s bottom
Forecastle

 Forward part of a vessel where stores, ropes and anchor

 chains  are located

Freeboard

 The measured distance vertically amidships between the main

  load  line of a ship and the deck line (free board deck of

 ship-main  deck in a single tween deck, and shelter deck in a

 shelter deck  ship ). The amount of free board assigned is such

 that the ship,  when loaded down to her load line, possesses

 sufficient reserve  buoyancy in the portion of the hull and the

 erections above the  waterline to ensure a satisfactory margin

 of  safety

 vessels to allow loading and discharge of cargo.

 at a life boat station.

Poop  Raised deck at the stern of a vessel.
Propeller  A means of propelling a vessel through the water
Rudder  The directional control of the vessel.

 Accommodation housing the propeller  shaft linking the

 propeller with the machinery (engine) in a vessel.
