Trade Committee is to address all issues relating to the operation and development of vessels engaged in domestic trade comprising the liner, bulk, offshore and tanker sectors.
In addition, the Committee shall look into issues pertaining to Domestic Shipping Licensing Board, local shipping legislation and local authorities via ports, terminals and Customs and any other matters related to domestic shipping.
       
The Committee may make recommendations on relevant issues to MASA EXCO as requested or when deemed necessary.

Finance Committee is to address issues relating to the financial aspect of shipping that may affect the shipping industry and financial implications of proposals made by maritime-related national, regional and international bodies. The Committee will also oversee the financial matters of the Association, which include the annual budget, income and expenditure, and membership subscriptions among others.

The Committee may make recommendations on financial issues to MASA EXCO as requested or when necessary.

The Committee also address issues relating to maritime insurance including keeping abreast with developments of the terms and conditions of all maritime insurance, P&I and the maritime insurance markets.
